BirdWatch Ireland and RSPB Northern Ireland's 38th All-Ireland Conference will embrace the theme Garden Birds: Biodiversity on your Doorstep.

BirdWatch Ireland and RSPB Northern Ireland have announced that their 38th All-Ireland Conference will take place from Friday 31st March to Sunday 2nd April 2006. Taking the form of a weekend expo, the conference will be less formal than in previous years which is reflected in the theme. Building on BirdWatch Ireland's recent successes with the garden bird exhibition run in conjunction with ENFO and currently travelling all over the country, and the phenomenally popular annual Garden BirdWatch Survey, this will be a weekend or people from all backgrounds, both expert ornithologists and beginning backyard birdwatchers alike. The expo will also place a particular emphasis on educational activities for children.
